  1. Military spending is on pace to crowd out all other federal discretionary spending in just a few years. America is fighting a proxy war with the country with the world’s largest nuclear arsenal, gearing up for a hot war with China, and pushing the world to the brink of WWIII. America has – what – over 800 bases in over 100 countries? And three new ones in the Philippines. And a COMPLETELY docile, clueless populus. Our only hope is that America can peacefully go broke before it starts WWIII but I’m not at all hopeful. https://stonefruit.substack.com/p/the-american-empire-is-over

  2. Thanks for hosting this, and please ask speakers to time their presentations, leaving room for Q&A, and speak at a moderate pace. Last time some were just speed-talking and it doesn’t help get points across.
Bonus points for not reading a script verbatim.
