I attended your webinar. Here are my prepared and off-the-cuff remarks:
My name is Gary Brumback, a long ago retired organizational psychologist turned historian and mere muckraker. I am simply a truth teller, not a brave whistleblower. Whistleblowers are extraordinary truthtellers who risk their careers and lives for their truth telling.
I turned to history over 10 years ago after reading Howard Zinn’s “The Peoples’ History of the United States.” Since then, I have written four books about America’s corpocracy and its small band of power elite in Corporate America and Government America, with the former telling the latter what to do, what to buy and what to say. Overall, I have made hundreds of proposals about how to turn America into a true democracy, all to no avail. In my last book, ““Achilles Heel of Public Enemy No. 1” (available on Amazon), I estimated it would take a mere 20 million dollars and 10 years to create that democracy by first neutralizing the power elite by legally and peacefully taking away 25 some “props” they rely on to keep and expand their power, props such as campaign funding and subsidies (I hasten to add that I have no financial stake whatsoever in the matter). The kicker is that I have utterly failed to interest the superrich, whom Ralph Nader naively claimed were the only ones who could “rescue us.” I was just as naïve in believing him. Bill Gates snubbed me. So did Warren Buffett. So did a bunch of other fat cats. So, I quit. I will still heed the assassinated MLK’s creed, “Life begins to end when one becomes silent about things that matter,” but at 86 I am going to start smelling the roses while I can still smell. I will close by pleading with the participants in this webinar to read my last book and find ways to fund the proposal you will read there.
And remember, whistleblowing has its limitations. As Mark Twain once said, “it is easier to fool someone than to convince them they have been fooled.”

The next to last thing the US ruling class wants is for the truth to be known. The last thing it wants is for people to act on that knowledge and dispense with that class forever.
By “ruling”, you of course just mean “robbing”.
