A former editor-at-large for African Stream and ex-staff writer at Telesur, Julian Cola is publishing a memoir of intimate, community-inspired stories titled Proibidão (Big Prohibited): Off-Grid Correspondence From Brazil & Ecuador.” The pre-launch is in December 2025.
