Steven Davis is a U.S.-born journalist and activist. He was born, raised and lives currently in Massachusetts, and has been investigating and writing about human trafficking crimes for the better part of a decade. He has a long history of involvement in labor and environmental activism, including working as a union organizer in different parts of the U.S. He works now as an accountant in his “day-to-day” work. He travelled to Haiti in December 2022, to personally investigate human trafficking researcher Monica Petersen’s claims of human trafficking in Haiti, as well as help a school for children in Caracol, Haiti. He remains deeply committed to further investigating and writing about human trafficking crimes in Haiti, the most impoverished nation in the Western Hemisphere.
